The Club will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2010. An organising committee has been set up, comprising Mike Beckwith, Bruce Marshall, John Muir and Gordon Stewart, to co-ordinate events.
Past Players' Lunch on Saturday, 25 September 2010
Applications can now be made for a place at the above Lunch which will be held in the Clubhouse. Details are as follows:
Meet at 11.45am
Lunch at 12.30pm prompt
Match (First XV v Boroughmuir) at 3.00pm
Lunch: 3 course meal
Cost: £20.00 per person (including free admission to the Match).
Applications will only be accepted if accompanied by payment (cheques payable to Currie RFC) and should be given to Gordon Stewart or sent to Gordon at 405 Lanark Road West, Currie, Edinburgh EH14 5SL.
All applications will be acknowledged by e-mail or telephone (please provide details). If, after sending your payment, it has not been acknowledged within 14 days please contact Gordon Stewart (telephone 0131 449 4859). Tickets will not be issued.
Please note that the number of people we can accommodate at the Lunch is limited. We expect a large number of applications and these will be strictly allocated after payment and on a "first come" basis. However, if there is an oversubscription, consideration will be given to holding a further Past Players' Lunch.
This is our inaugural Past Players' Lunch and it is part of the Club's 40th Anniversary celebrations. It is a unique opportunity for Past Players, who have all played their part in the success of the Club over the past 40 years, to meet again and it promises to be a memorable occasion. We hope that you can join us.
Note: There are special arrangements for payment for the Lunch by those Past Players who wish to attend but who reside outside the United Kingdom.
