The winners of the Shirt Sponsor Draw made on Friday 30th July were as follows.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in this year's draw. All entrants will receive details in due course of the sponsors lunch which is likely to be held on a Saturday in October.

Who is Currie RFC?
- Currie Rugby Football Club plays in Scottish Hydro Premier One – the highest division in Scottish Club Rugby and are the current league champions.
- The club is celebrating its 40th Year in 2010 on the back of the most successful season in its history
- The Club is active at all levels, both senior and junior, and, while the Club’s 1st XV are champions, the Under-18s and Under-15s won their respective National Cups. The 2nd XV gained promotion as did the 3rd XV who also won their league
- The other sides in the Club’s Youth Section, which offers rugby from Primary 1 through to Under-16s, also had a very successful season with most of them returning from competitions with silverware. The S1s being unbeaten all season and the Under-15s adding to the National Cup by winning the Stirling 10s.
Why enter the competition?
- The Club relies heavily on sponsorship, membership and clubhouse revenue to survive and relies on the support of the local community and businesses. All Clubs at our level are operating in a very difficult financial climate and this has meant that we continue to seek a main sponsor for the Club for this season. The Commercial Team continues to look for opportunities to attract commercial support from a large number of possible sources and have had some success. Subscribing to the Shirt Sponsor Lottery will assist the Team in their efforts.
- The club is growing particularly within its Youth section where we have seen a 200% growth in the past two seasons. Currie Rugby Club has an important role to play in the life of the communities of Kirknewton, Balerno, Currie, Juniper Green and Ratho but we’d need your help to secure future prosperity.
What do I win?
- Three prizes are on offer. First out of the hat will have first choice, second out second choice and so on.
- Prizes are:
o Company name/logo on back of 1st XV jersey
o Company name/log on sleeve of 1stXV jersey
o Company name/logo on chest of all Midi teams (S1, S2, U15 and U16)
o Pre-match lunch for two for all entrants
Terms and Conditions
- Tickets go on sale 9am, Friday 25 June 2010.
- Ticket Sales closes 6.30pm on Friday 30th July 2010.
- Price is £250 / ticket or £400 / two tickets.
- Money must be paid in full at time of purchase.
- No refunds.
Tickets can be obtained at the Bar in the Clubhouse, from Brian Taylor or other Committee members.
