Event: | Looking for volunteers for Training Night Meals |

Over a number of seasons now it has been the practice for a hardy band of volunteers to provide a hot meal for the players following Tuesday and Thursday training sessions. This is greatly appreciated by the players as many have a distance to travel from work without having a chance to get some food.
The meals normally consist of a bowl of soup and a main course catering for around 30.The charge is £2 per head and experience shows this covers the cost to the volunteer for providing the food.
Obviously the more volunteers we get for the task, the better. You can do as many nights as you wish. When I find out numbers I will organise a short meeting to discuss further and agree the rota.
